About Baba Marta
For sure there is no such Disney movie. Baba Marta is a holiday that is celebrated all March in Bulgaria! On the 1st of March Bulgarian people wish each other "Happy Baba Marta". Baba means "grandmother" in English. "Mart" is March.
Everybody gives and receives "Martenici". The martenica is traditionaly made of two threads - one white and one red. It is belived that the martenitci give you health and strenght. Bulgarian wear them untill the spring come.
